Kathmandu : inDrive, a global mobility and urban services platform has introduced an Accidental Insurance in collaboration with Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited. This initiative aims to enhance safety and provide financial security to both drivers and passengers in case of unforeseen incidents during their rides.

The agreement was signed by Ms. Rita Pokharel, Country Representative of inDrive Nepal, and Mr. Chunky Chhetry, Chief Executive Officer of Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company Limited.

Under this agreement, NPR 800,000 will be provided in case of death or permanent total disability of drivers or passengers. Additionally, up to NPR 80,000 will be reimbursed for medical treatment expenses incurred due to an accident. For minor passengers, the compensation will be 50% of the insured amount.
