February 24, 2022: The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), executed on 23 Feb. 2022, was signed between Kumari Job and FOUND Project(The Leprosy Mission Nepal (TLMN) to partner up in the different sets of activities that have common and shared objectives topromote Employment opportunities for the Persons with Disabilities in the formal job sector.The core motivation that led both parties to the signing of this agreement is based on the common interest of giving back to society by supporting persons with disabilities
Speaking about the MoU, Mr. Sandesh Bhandari –Managing Director of Kumarijob.com said, “People with physical disabilities are equally mentally capable and, given the right opportunities, can perform just as well as other people. In Nepal, peoplewith physical disabilities are still not given opportunities in the field of formal employment. Kumari Job has tried to send a message of positivechange. And we are proud to be partnering with the Foundation Project for the same.”
He further added, “Kumari Job is keenly looking forward to taking further steps in the future in order to contribute more towards the employment sector in Nepal. This exemplary coalition will certainly reinforce the employment sector in Nepal by providing new sets of workforces i.e., persons with disabilities.”
On behalf of Kumari Job and FOUND Project (TLMN), Mr. Sandesh Bhandari – the Managing Director of Kumarijob.com, and Mr. Chiranjivi Sharma – Project Director of FOUND Project signed the MoU respectively.
